Now both a writer and photographer, my work has subsequently appeared in various periodicals and trade journals over the years. Images I've created have been utilized in brochures, advertisements, calendars, newspapers, magazines, and books. National arenas that cater to artists in my field that have displayed my images are: Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, Charleston, SC; Delaware Art Show & Sale, Georgetown, DE and the Waterfowl Festival, Easton, MD. Broadcast Operation and Production was my higher education and career for 3 plus decades. Those years of continuity writing, studio/remote camera and video work coincided with something else I always loved; creating photographs and writing stories. Seminars by Leonard Lee Rue III, John Shaw and Joe McDonald helped me hone specific disciplines within the realm of nature photography. Developing the skills necessary in the computer darkroom were augmented by participation in Photoshop World and utilizing Adobe’s tutorial CDs and on-line instruction. "Self-taught" with the aid of many masters would best describe my photographic education.
